Oxford International School (OIS) celebrated its Graduation Ceremony 2019’ on the 22nd of August (Thursday) at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. Around two hundred students of OIS, who graduated in their O’ and A’ Level Examinations in very recent years, were declared as CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) Graduates in the presence of a good number of distinguished guests, parents, teachers, sta, and journalists of both print and electronic media. The graduates were awarded Certificates, Testimonials, and a variety of Souvenirs. The Gradu-action Ceremony began at 6:00 p.m. and continued till 11:00 p.m. The guests consisted of Ministers, Members of the National Parliament of Bangladesh, eminent Educators, and Writers. Besides, Cultural Affairs Ocer of the US Embassy Bangladesh, Mrs. Isabelle Zsoldos, Acting Director of BritishCouncil Bangladesh, Mr. Andrew Newton, Country Manager of CAIE, Mr. Shahin Reza, and many other renowned individuals graced the occasion. The OIS Graduates were greatly motivated by the speech of the Chief Guest Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP (Honourable State Minister Information & Communication Technology Division) and Dr. M. Zafar Iqbal (Celebrated Writer and Educator). M. Shakhawat Hossain (Respected President of OIS) also inspired the young Graduates on how to lead their life and reach their future goals.
