OIS celebrated its Graduation Ceremony 2022 on Monday, 19th December, at the Radisson Blu Water Garden, Dhaka. Mr Md Atiqul Islam, Honourable Mayor, of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) was present as the Chief Guest of the programme. Dr Mohammed Kaykobad, Distinguished Professor, BRAC University, was the Convocation Speaker while Ms Tooba Arbab, Director OIS presided over the programme as the Chairperson. There was also an exciting panel of Special Guests to receive the graduates: Md Shaul Islam (Mohiuddin), MP (Dhaka 10) Former President of BGMEA, S M Sjahjada MP (Patuakhali 3), Major General A K M Abdur Rahman OSP, ndc, psc (retd), Former Military Secretary of the Bangladesh Army, Shahin Reza, Country Manager, CAIE, Ahsanul Haque, Head of Business Development, British Council, Bangladesh, Mohammad Abu Kayes Jahadi, CEO of OIS, Dr M Nurun Nabi, Principal OIS and F A Jahangir Masud, Head of Academic Excellence OIS. There were around 150 graduates who joined this programme along with their parents and teachers. Honourable Chief Guest and respected Special Guests prayed for the graduate’s bright future and advised them about their duties and responsibilities towards their family, society, nation, and the world. It was a night of feast, music, cheer, performances by our students and most importantly very valuable messages imparted by the special guests to our graduates.
